‘ANOTHER YOUNG CAYMANIAN’ @GRAM BELLAS

Iain MacRae is a contemporary artist born in Grand Cayman to Scottish parents. His work tackles tough topics with strong and unapologetic opinions. His use of color and often brash brush strokes, along with text, convey his process, which is somewhat of a fight with his piece, going through hard-to-feel emotions in order to produce relatability.

For his latest exhibition, ‘Another Young Caymanian,’ MacRae studies the inherent connection to our land, culture, and heritage that is being lost in our communities and the effect this has on our young people.
