Join a National Gallery curator-led tour of the National Art Collection and the current collection exhibition ‘Evolutions: Continuity and Change in Caymanian Art’. CAW West – Gallery & Studio Tours (Seven Mile Beach area) – FEATURED TOUR
Visit galleries in the Seven Mile Beach area after hours and enjoy access to special exhibitions, pop-up art spaces, and projects. Confirmed tour venues include: Cera Tan at Hotel Indigo, The Studio at Kimpton Seafire, Carlos V. Garcia Gallery (The Grove), The Gallery at the Ritz-Carlton, Kennedy Gallery (Westshore Centre), The Gallery by Jason Kennedy (Camana Bay), Label C (Camana Bay), Tabs (Camana Bay), John Broad at Island Jewellers (Camana Bay), Yonier Powery at Optique (Queen’s Court), and more.
Hop-on hop-off bus tours will leave from the Hub at The Paseo, Camana Bay, and run between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm from participating venues, many of whom are also hosting special events. Enjoy a complimentary Aperol Spritz courtesy of Jacques Scott at the Hub before you board the bus (bar open between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm). Our 2025 CAW West tour is hosted in partnership with Hotel Indigo and Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa.

Hotel Indigo: Cera Tan Exhibition
Throughout Hotel Indigo, art is woven into every corner. The hotel proudly showcases over 400 commissioned pieces by Caymanian and Caribbean artists — from hand-crafted pottery to vibrant murals and painted ceilings — all paying tribute to the island’s natural landscapes, historical figures, and cultural traditions. Discover the hotel’s diverse collection and visit a special pop-up exhibition by local artist Cera-Tan. Afterward, head to Catalina Bar & Lounge to enjoy drink specials (accessed via the CAW West hop-on/hop-off tour).

National Gallery Lunchtime Lecture – TimeBack Exhibition
Learn about the collaboration between the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands (NGCI), Compass Media and Dart to highlight the historic images from the Cayman Compass archive. Offering a prominent platform through which to present this treasure trove of photographs to the Caymanian public, TimeBack is conceived as a collective memory project and an opportunity to remember and relive Cayman’s past.

CEC Digital Exhibition and Special Reception
Immerse yourself in the digital art world with this special exhibition at Signal House that stretches across the CEC headquarters. Featured artists include Rudolph Johnson (digital installation Wreck of the Ten Sails in the Innovation Room), Michael Mothen “Bananaartkid”(digital exhibition in the auditorium), Shane Aquârt “Dready” (artwork display in 2474 Café), Kristi Anderson (digital art display in the Green Room). The Run of Show includes a curated programme of interventions and discussions featuring the exhibiting artists, along with The Sunny Art Collective Info Booth with Aleksandra Andzic and Fernando, Cayman-style games with Kerwin Ebanks, and a cash bar.

Late Night at the Cayman Islands National Museum

CAW Central (Central George Town) – FEATURED TOUR
Experience the very best of George Town galleries and studios through the CAW Central tour. Confirmed venues include Guy Harvey Gallery, Claire At The Beach Studio, Crucial Ink Gallery, Ngara Gallery, 3 Girls and a Kiln, Art Nest Studio, Martlet Studio, the Cayman Islands National Museum, and more.
The venues can be accessed on foot or via a free hop-on/hop-off bus tour (6:00 pm to 9:00 pm), leaving from the Hub at Cardinall Ave and running on a loop throughout the evening from participating venues. Select George Town eateries will also be extending discounted dining as part of the initiative. The experience can be navigated either via bus tours or by using the walking map that will be provided from the CAW hub on Cardinall Avenue.
CAW Central is hosted in partnership with George Town Revitalisation.

Kirkman Studios Cocktail Reception
Join featured artists Ethan Kirkman, Iain MacRae, Henry Hoy, Yonier Powery, and Aimee Randolph for a reception celebrating their exhibition The Pendulum of Duality. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and interact with the artists, and a brief discussion by the artists will take place at approximately 8:00 pm. Prosecco, wine, and charcuterie will be served.

In collaboration with the Department of Children and Family Services, Cayman Art Week will host a curator-led bused tour of the studios and galleries across Cayman Brac for the Brac senior’s community. Refreshments will be provided.

Studio Tour: Visual Arts Society
The Visual Arts Society, Cayman’s longest-running art organisation, will be hosting an Open House on Saturday. Enjoy live pottery wheel demonstrations along with a special exhibition by VAS member-artist at their Watler House Studio at Pedro St. James.

CAW East – Gallery & Studio Bus Tour - FEATURED TOUR
Join a curator-led bus tour of the studios and galleries situated in South Sound, Savannah, Bodden Town, and Breakers. Buses will leave the National Gallery at 9:00 am and 9.30 am and head to the following venues: Pure Art Gallery, Scott Swing Studio, Kay Smith Studio (Breakers), and Gram Bellas (Northside) before looping back to George Town.

Island Primary & Autism Cayman present Expression Beyond Words
Autism Cayman is pleased to present Expression Beyond Words, an exhibition curated from select works by autistic and neurodiverse children and adults. The exhibition aims to give persons a better understanding of autism and neurodiversity from the personal perspectives of each artist helping to spread the message that creativity is universal and isn't limited to those who can express themselves verbally.
Featured artworks will be for sale with the proceeds going to the charitable organisation Autism Cayman. Each work will be accompanied by a title and personalised message from the artist or parent/caregiver on behalf of the artist.
Meet the artists and their families at a cocktail reception from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Lunchtime Lecture – From the Mind’s Eye: A Tribute to Creativity
Join a National Gallery curator-led tour of the From the Mind’s Eye group exhibition featuring 18 Cayman artists. This exhibited work seeks inspiration from dreams, mystical visions, and subconscious thought and emotion. Through historical and contemporary artworks that explore spontaneous creating, and the various ways in which artists are inspired, explore the expansive field of human imagination.
Refreshments are available in the NGCI Art Café.

CAW Brac – Gallery & Studio Tour – NEW FEATURED TOUR
Join a curator-led bus tour of the studios, galleries, and heritage sites across Cayman Brac. Buses will leave the District Administration Car Park from 4:00 pm stopping at the following venues at intervals: Cayman Brac Heritage House (National Gallery pop-up exhibition), Nim Things, Captains Retreat (heritage cottage tour and pop-up exhibition), Gordon Solomon Gallery (new exhibition), Eldemire House (new exhibition).

Open Studio – Artist Meet & Greet and Painting Session
Join artist Simone Scott, in collaboration with the Cayman Brac Artists-Meet group, who will be hosting an en plein air watercolour session during the CAW Brac Tour. The session will focus on traditional Caymanian cottage architecture. The artists will be on-site to discuss their work.

Join artist Cera-Tan Kennaird in conversation with First Officer Gisellah Ebanks, who is the subject of her large format painting in the hotel lobby, for this intimate and interactive session. Artists will be taking over Grand Harbour with a pop-up exhibition and evening event that celebrates the closure of Cayman Art Week. Over 35 by Jason Kennedy, Rajj, John Broad, Ramah, Donovan Sewell and
Phillip Haynes will be unveiled across participating retail venues and outdoor public spaces. Throughout the evening enjoy live music, art interventions, and specials at local participating restaurants.

Mutiny ‘On Our Block’ Event
Mutiny, the premier streetwear atelier and label, is set to revive the spirit of urban creativity with the return of On Our Block, a cultural declaration of youth artistic expression through streetwear fashion.

CAW Central / Art in the City – Gallery and Studio Tours (Central George Town) – FEATURED TOUR
Cayman Art Week and George Town Revitalisation (GTR) collaborate to bring you CAW Central and ‘Art in the City,’ which begins at 5:00 pm on Cardinall Avenue with entertainment and refreshments. Then, experience the very best of George Town’s Galleries, Studios, and Pop-Ups.
Confirmed venues include Guy Harvey Gallery, Claire At The Beach Studio, Island House Gallery, Sandon Feat Gallery, 3 Girls and a Kiln, Goodness Pop-Up, Art Nest Studio, Happy Hour at the Wicket (from 5:00 pm, Cricket Square), ‘On Our Block’ at Mutiny Pop-Up, Ngara Galleries, Le Vele Pop-Up, Crucial Ink Gallery, Martlet Studio and the Cayman Islands National Museum.
For the second year, you can visit the complimentary Aperol Spritz station on Cardinall Avenue between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Grab a cocktail while you explore the Galleries and Pop-Ups throughout George Town.
Select George Town eateries will also extend discounted dining as part of the initiative.
The evening can be navigated via the free CAW Central hop-on hop-off bus tours, which will run on-loop between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. from participating venues, or using the walking map provided by the CAW Hub on Cardinal Avenue. The evening can also be self-guided.

Visual Arts Society Pop-Up Gallery & Market
The Visual Arts Society (VAS) will host a Pop-Up Gallery Art sy (Piccolino’s) and Market (Bevvy) on 23 and 24 May. The event will feature fine art alongside various artisans displaying handcrafted crafts using different mediums. There will also be artist meet-and-greets and live demos. Featured artists include Aimee Randolph, Janice Brown, Sandra Castillo del Busto, Tricia Sybersma, Dinah Green, Gale Tibbitts, Cally Clark, and Delbra Campbell.
Enjoy complimentary refreshments.
Parking is available at the adjacent lot next to Sunset Cove. This event is also part of the CAW West Bus Tour.

St. Ignatius 5th Annual Tour d'Art
The St. Ignatius 5th Annual Tour d’Art will be on the afternoon of Thursday, 23rd May, and the morning of Friday, 24th 2024. This year, they will be joining forces with the High Side for a whole school Tour d'Art! They have aligned the date of Tour d'Art to coincide with and support Cayman Art Week.
The event is organised to showcase the amazing artistic abilities of the students using their outside classroom, bulletin boards, and walkways to display student art. Parents and the community are invited to take a tour of our art displays from the Nursery all the way to the High Side.
There were no limitations on what type of art the students could create! There is clay work, paintings, drawings, collages, self-portraits, fluid art, recycled art, and more!

CAW West – Gallery, Studio & Pop-Up Tours (Seven Mile Beach area) – FEATURED TOUR
Visit Galleries and Pop-Up art venues in the Seven Mile Beach area after hours and enjoy access to special exhibitions, interventions, and special events.
Confirmed tour venues include Carlos V. Garcia Gallery at The Grove, Kennedy Gallery at West Shore Centre, The Gallery by Jason Kennedy and Janine Avery, John Broad Pop-Up (Abacus), Ruby Marr Pop-Up (Union Bar and Grill), The Hub Gallery at Camana Bay, Cera-Tan Kennaird Pop-Up (Quinntessential Movement) and Jo Austin Pop-Up (Ledger & Looms). FREE hop-on, hop-off CAW West BusTours will run between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. from Camana Bay to participating venues, many of which are also hosting special events. The evening can also be self-guided.

Discover the journey of 'Transformation: Navigating Change and Resilience' by artist Cera-Tan Kennaird. Enjoy art tours throughout the evening and join the artist as she discusses her creative journey (7:00 pm).
This multidisciplinary art event will also include a captivating dance performance by Quinntessential Movement and an aerial performance by Renee, from Sannyasa Yoga & Acro with one of her students.
