‘On Our Block’ is the artistic manifestation of a cultural declaration by two native sons—acclaimed fashion designer Jawara Alleyne and accomplished Renaissance man Josh Pearl. For two days, the MUTINY store compound will come alive with two static displays celebrating fashion design and streetwear for free and open public viewing.

Jawara Alleyne presents a replica of his London working studio created to demystify the design process, showing key parts of the process of his design team, such as fitting sessions, design and sketching, pattern cutting, and sample cutting sessions.

Josh Pearl presents a visual and multi-media storyboard about his journey to MUTINY, telling the story of street style of native Caymanians throughout time and the significance it plays in affecting culture and shaping collective identity.
